Alright, picture this. Blue skies, endless water views, beautiful bushland surrounds and an open diary to spend the day just the way you choose. Sounds pretty sweet, right? Well, it’s just another day at Reflections Lake Burrendong in Central West NSW.
Prime Location
An easy drive from Dubbo, Wellington, and Orange, you’ll find this absolute gem nestled away in Lake Burrendong State Park. If you’re on your way from Sydney, you’ll be in for a 355-kilometre drive via the Great Western and Mitchell Highways, but gee is it worth it. Our Lake Burrendong accommodation has prime position surrounded by Burrendong Dam on all sides (just check the park map) so you’ll be within easy reach of fun and adventure wherever you stay.
Diverse accommodation options
Whatever your holiday style, Lake Burrendong Caravan Park has all accommodation options covered. Camping in Lake Burrendong is the perfect country getaway, and we’ve got extra-large powered and unpowered campsites for all the campers and caravanners. And for those looking for some extra comfort, we’ve got a range of cabins that are perfect for families, boasting breathtaking views over the lake. And yes, we’re proud to be dog-friendly all year round.
Activities and attractions
Whatever activity floats your boat, Lake Burrendong Holiday Park has it on offer. And speaking of boats, feel free to bring yours along too. We’ve got plenty of water to enjoy and more than a few special spots to drop a line in to see what’s biting. Or pop the kayak or stand-up paddle board in the drink and explore the gently winding waterways of the Macquarie River – it’s simply magic.
On dry land, meet some of the locals, including our friendly kangaroos and colourful native birdlife. Or take it easy and stroll across Burrendong Dam to enjoy the stunning lake and basin views. Then head back to camp and whip up an easy dinner at one of our BBQ areas while the kids hit the playground. Bliss!
This is a well-kitted-out park with an on-site kiosk, swimming pool, skatepark and laundry. Looking for a nature spot for a conference? Yep, we got that too.
Explore the surrounding area
While you’re in the Central West, there’s some pretty iconic tourist attractions within easy reach of our Lake Burrendong cabins and camping spots. No one can resist a day trip to the incredible Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo or a morning exploring underground at the Wellington Caves. Just make sure you’re back at Reflections Lake Burrendong in time to claim your spot around the campfire, ready to watch the free star gazing show.
